Refund Policy
Season One fee and refund rules for Boater League in Tucson. Written for how the league is set up today — tweakable as registration and checkout go live.
Last updated: July 16, 2026
Boater League is a nonprofit adult league. Fees cover venue time, operations, custom jerseys (where included), and season administration. This policy explains when refunds are available.
Waitlist
The Season One waitlist is free. Joining does not charge a fee and does not guarantee a roster spot. There is nothing to refund for waitlist signup alone.
Season registration fees
Public Season One tiers (when registration opens):
- Full-Time Player — $65 (custom jersey included)
- Dedicated Goalkeeper — $50, capped at 8 (custom jersey included)
- Player-Referee — $50, capped at 4 (custom jersey included)
Before jersey production is ordered: if you withdraw in writing and we have not yet submitted your jersey for production, we will refund your registration fee minus any non-recoverable processing fees charged by the payment provider.
After jersey production is ordered: the jersey portion of your fee is non-refundable. If you withdraw before Week 1 and we can fill your roster spot, we may offer a partial refund of the remaining operational portion at the league’s discretion.
After Week 1 begins: registration fees are non-refundable, including for missed matches, personal schedule conflicts, injury, or leaving the league mid-season, except where required by law or where the league cancels the season.
Guest player fees
Guest play is $7 per approved game and is not playoff eligible. Guest fees are due for the match night they cover. Once a guest is approved and the fee is paid for that game, it is non-refundable if the guest cancels or no-shows. If Boater League cancels the match, the guest fee will be refunded or credited to a future approved guest appearance.
League cancellation or major schedule change
If Boater League cancels Season One before it starts, registered players will receive a full refund of registration fees paid (or a jersey-only arrangement if kits were already produced and you choose to keep them — details communicated at the time). If the season is shortened after it begins for reasons outside player control, the league may offer a partial credit or refund proportional to unused weeks, communicated case by case.
How to request a refund
Email admin@boaterleague.com from the address used at registration with your full name, tier, and reason. We aim to respond within 7 days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method when possible.
Disputes
Contact the league first so we can resolve the issue directly. Chargebacks without contacting us may affect future eligibility to register or guest.
Changes
We may update this policy as payment tooling and Season One logistics finalize. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Material changes that affect paid registrants will also be emailed when practical.
